we may be on the back end of the heart of summer in the time of global climate change and it may still be 80+ degrees with a fair amount of humidity outside - but i am starting to feel the subtle coolness underneath the sunny heat...autumn - it is 'nigh :) i ride across the river on my 49cc scooter and i feel like vincent from project runway 3 :) he was pretty much a total douchebag, but the giddiness with which he proclaimed that his own work "turned him on" is kinda how i feel about autumn :)

probably saturday... i carved 3 new blocks this week to print with the dress :) • i need to acquire some materials - wall paper and dress patterns • i already have vellum and might want some dirty looking paper - maybe tea stained • i need blue ink - accidentally bought purple thinking it was royal blue but tried it with yellow and it turned to a brownish grey...neither delicate nor feminine! heather bought my first print on etsy :) i get conflicted about selling art to friends...i hope it wasn't a pity buy :) my grandpa's 90th birthday party is this weekend too... so many things to do to...
