I'm not yet sure what prints I should consider for sale...but there are some GREAT opportunities out there right now!!! Mimesis Society6 & Urban Outfitters dot com ...might continue to add to this when I find more. I currently have a consignment with bon bon atelier and they are great. I've sold at least 1 piece every month since I started...sometimes more. My prices are super low though, so I would need serious volume to make any real money at it. And most of the opportunities like above are more about exposure than a paycheck...though one hopes the result is both. I really wish I had serious time to devote to art! Though be careful what you wish for, right :)

i'm having a hard time keeping up these days...i currently have work hanging in 3 galleries, which is awesome i just have trouble keeping track of drop-off and pick-up days...i have 3 more shows i want to submit to - sent an e-mail off to one asking if they'd consider my piece a sculpture or if it's disqualified because it's too deep...it can hang on the wall or sit on a pedestal though the visual interest is from the front...but it fits the "emergence" theme perfectly...i'll submit it... i need to put together an artist resume...i have my corporate day job graphic designer resume, but i don't have a list of everywhere i've shown in the past few years...which it doesn't get interesting until this year :) i also need to print some business cards to include with my work that i'm going to have for sale at bon bon atelier in westport as soon as i can get over there to give them some! :) very exciting stuff... and then on top of that there was t...

got the catalog in the mail - i think my photo turned out nice :) would have like to have the opportunity to color correct it just a little - it was a bit yellow on the page, but not too bad. i'll take a photo and poster later :) very cool to see my work in a catalog - i never have before. i also e-mailed to rsvp for myself and my husband - we get complimentary entry to the affair because of my donation. i also underpriced the piece - i have it listed about $50 higher when i try to sell it, but ultimately the photo doesn't do it justice - the nuances of the embroidery and the pattern overlay is lost in the photo - the striking part is the lacing. another cool thing of late is that i was invited to participate in an art/craft fair in westport, kc by the bon bon atelier which is a pretty cool shop that is highly regarded by several women i went to college with. i can't attend because john has a Div.II championship meet that weekend and i'll be officiating. but one of the...
